Membership Code of Conduct HPRC Arcata


All members are required to adhere to the following code of conduct. Violation of any of these rules may result in revocation of membership.


  • Patients must be at least eighteen (18) years old and present a valid,¬†government-issued identification and proof of their status as a valid California Medical Patient at every visit. Caregivers must be included in the written recommendation and have a valid ID. Patients are limited to two visits per day.
  • Patients and staff are to treat each other with respect and courtesy at all times. Offensive, abusive, and/or threatening language or behavior will not be tolerated for any reason. Please do not loiter out front of the building.
  • All products obtained through HPRC are for personal medical use. It is not to be resold or redistributed
    for any reason. All Clones are for personal or collective use only. Check with your local government for
    cultivation ordinances.
  • Members shall not photograph, record audio/video, or broadcast any activities regarding HPRC without the prior written consent of an authorized agent. Cell phone use is prohibited inside the facility.
  • All Clone sales are final. If you have concerns about pest or cultivation questions, please address them before leaving the facility with your clones. We cannot reintroduce clones to our garden that have left our facility. Please check the contents of your bag to ensure your order was done correctly before leaving the facility. Medicine that leaves the facility cannot be reintroduced into inventory for health reasons.
  • Please respect our neighbors and keep our storefront clean and clear of any debris. There is no consumption of Cannabis permitted on our property. Smoking, ingesting, or consuming cannabis is strictly prohibited on HPRC property. Smoking is not permitted on our property or within 1000 feet of the building. Cannabis smoke is known to the State of California to contain carcinogens (CA Prop 65).
  • Patients agree to not line up outside of the building before the facility opens. This is out of respect for our neighbors. No preference will be given to patients who stand in a line outside of the facility before business hours.
  • Patients and caregivers should talk with our staff if there are any concerns about addiction or abuse of medical marijuana. Our staff would be happy to address your concerns and ensure we refer patients to proper addiction clinics for professional help.
